 I started LucyJames Recruitment because I believed there was a better way to recruit — built on genuine consultation, not commission targets. I wanted to take the time to truly understand the businesses and people I work with, and make placements that actually last.

With over 20 years' experience in recruitment, I've built the business on relationships, trust and consistent delivery. Much of my work comes through word of mouth and repeat partnerships — something I'm incredibly proud of.

I'm also a mum and run the business from my home office, which gives me the focus and flexibility to work closely with both organisations and professionals.

I'm not simply a consultant placing CVs — I genuinely care about the people and businesses I work with, and about ensuring the right match is made. 

My approach is straightforward: honest conversations, personal involvement and long-term relationships.

I spend time each year in Florida, which has inspired my longer-term goal of expanding LucyJames Recruitment into the US market — building international connections while continuing to deliver the personal service my clients value.
