As part of our Executive Search and headhunting activities, we may also identify professional information from publicly available or professional sources, including LinkedIn, company websites, professional networks, job boards, referrals and recommendations.

  • provide recruitment and Executive Search services;
  • assess suitability for current or future opportunities;
  • identify and approach potential candidates;
  • introduce suitable candidates to clients;
  • manage applications, interviews and placements;

  • administer temporary or contract assignments where applicable;

Candidate information may be shared with prospective employers where appropriate to a recruitment assignment or potential opportunity.

Where an introduction is confidential, speculative or relates to an individual who is not actively seeking employment, we will normally discuss the proposed introduction before disclosing information that identifies the individual.

Confidentiality is particularly important within our Executive Search and MPC services, and information is handled accordingly.

  • service providers supporting our recruitment, compliance, technology, payroll or business operations;
  • professional advisers;
  • screening, referencing or compliance providers where appropriate; and

Candidate information will normally be retained for up to two years following our last meaningful interaction, unless:

  • you ask us to delete it;
  • we have an ongoing recruitment relationship;
  • a placement, assignment or contractual relationship requires continued retention; or
  • we are required or have a lawful reason to retain information for longer.

Other business and financial records may be retained for different periods where required by law.

8. International recruitment and data transfers

LucyJames operates across UK and international markets, including the United States.

Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, including to prospective employers, clients or service providers in the United States, we take appropriate steps to ensure the transfer complies with applicable UK data protection requirements.

Depending on the recipient and circumstances, this may include reliance on applicable UK adequacy regulations or other legally recognised safeguards for international transfers.

We will only share personal information internationally where there is an appropriate recruitment, business or legal reason to do so.
