I started my recruitment career in 1998 and founded LucyJames Recruitment in 2017. 

Over the years, I’ve built a strong and credible network across Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation and Transport — and today, some of the best senior leaders I work with come directly to me when they’re ready for their next challenge.

And that’s the part of recruitment I love.

Great executive search isn’t always about filling an advertised vacancy.

Often, I’m working with a highly successful leader who isn’t actively job hunting — they’ve achieved what they set out to do and they’re ready for something new.

My job is to understand what makes them tick, what will challenge them and where they could make a real difference.

I then research the market, identify the businesses where their experience could add genuine value and start the right conversations — sometimes creating an opportunity that wasn’t previously there.

For me, that’s what executive search should be.
